01Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Main Street Trades (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy and Trading Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
"Main Street Trades", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Main Street Trades, the operator of mainstreettrades.com and the associated Discord community.
02Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. If you are accessing the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization.
The Service is not intended for use in jurisdictions where its content or operation would be unlawful. You are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction.
03The Service
Main Street Trades is an educational community for retail traders. Membership grants access to a private Discord server containing market commentary, trade ideas, educational content, third-party data feeds, and access to vetted contributors.
We make no representation that any content shared inside the Service is suitable for your financial situation, risk tolerance, or investment objectives. See the Trading Disclaimer for the full risk and no-advice statement.
04Membership & Billing
Paid memberships are processed through our payment partner, PayPal. By purchasing a membership, you authorize PayPal to charge the payment method on file according to the plan you selected. Membership renews automatically until cancelled.
You may cancel your membership at any time directly through your PayPal account at paypal.com/myaccount/autopay. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until that date. Refunds are handled at our discretion and are not guaranteed except where required by law.
Pricing, features, and included content may change. We will provide reasonable notice before changes that materially reduce the value of a paid plan.
05Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share, leak, redistribute, or republish any content from inside the Service without our written permission
- Scrape, mirror, or use automated means to extract data from the Service
- Resell, sublicense, or transfer your membership to another person
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate other members, staff, or contributors
- Post unlawful, defamatory, sexually explicit, or rights-infringing content
- Promote investment products, paid services, or affiliate links without authorization
- Interfere with the operation of the Service or attempt to bypass access controls
06User Content
You retain ownership of content you post inside the Service. By posting, you grant Main Street Trades a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and reference that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.
You are solely responsible for your posts. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our community standards.
07Intellectual Property
The Main Street Trades name, logo, branding, original written and visual content, and the curated selection and arrangement of community content are owned by Main Street Trades and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these Terms grants you a license to those assets except as needed to use the Service.
08Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party platforms, including Discord (community hosting), PayPal (subscription billing), and various data and content providers. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of third-party services.
09Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for a violation of these Terms, a chargeback or non-payment, or conduct that we reasonably believe harms the community. Terminated members are not entitled to a refund of any unused portion of a billing period.
You may stop using the Service and cancel your membership at any time.
10Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for your purposes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Main Street Trades and its operators, contributors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading losses, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Main Street Trades, its operators, contributors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
12Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
13Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. If we make material changes, we will post a notice inside the Service or send notice to the email associated with your account. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
